Wood:Outdoors
Calculate the square meters of surface to paint on a facade (the front perimeter of the same height), less the areas of windows and doors.
For a front perimeter of 50 m by 4 m in height would be calculated as follows:
Multiplying the values of the perimeter and the height of the facade we get the total area of the facade: (50 x 4) = 200 m 2
Area occupied by windows and doors, for example, 3 windows (1,20 m x 1,50 m) and 2 doors (2m x 1m):
3 x (1.20 x 2) + 2 (2 x 1.20) = 12 m2.
Therefore the total area to paint: 200 - 12 = 188 m2.
If we paint with a paint whose performance is between 8-11 m 2 / lt. would need between 17,10 and 23,50 liters of paint per coat.
